That almost looks more like the underside of some sort of Chiton Snail to me.

You may have already seen the picture above but I just discovered some AEFW on one of my slimer frags this morning and the little monsters look just like the pics above. Hard to see as they are somewhat transparent.

I hear ya!!! Lol. Hopefully, someone else will chime in soon as well just to be safe as this is just my perspective but I do fully believe your not AEFW based on what I make out in photo.
