i would say so. also, seems like you have some vermetid snails that the acro grew over?
 
When looking for them, I found flash on pictures in the dark from multiple angles gets them pretty clearly on camera….looks like stn but there a couple dots that are sus

Those are aefw eggs at the bottom on the stn

Agree. Unless this is a very high dollar coral, I would throw it out. Do the same for any frag you find eggs on unless it can not be replaced.

Get ready for regular dips over the next month or two.

Try to figure out a way to mount any colonies on tiles, this will make the dios easier. If you have a lot of stuff, prep your dip in a large container so you can do a lot at once.
 
this was a frag i got -
during the dipping and inspection process - i found this.

even though i had posted the question - i erred on the side of caution and drumped the frag. The tank is way too populated to risk. I appreciate the feedback.
