It's very small but growing. I thought it was a feather duster at first but as it gets bigger it looks more like aiptasia. What strange is I don't see anything like it on any of my rock. It's far from the rock on the front of the display glass and sand bed. I have another one attached to the glass in the return section of my sump.

I'd pull it out before it spreads! It's much harder to get rid of once it's in the rocks.

:cool:Be carful read about how they spread when disturbed There will a lot apion of how the get rid of apitastsia. You might even get the laser guys apion

It came up super easy. I covered it with the turkey baster and it sucked right up. I didn't have to scrape or anything.

sweet. you are lucky. I got one or 2 that I didn't notice with a piece of GSP that I got and I'm still trying to rid them from my tank lol... going to look into some more peppermint shrimp to help the situation.

Cool looking fish!! I was just reading about them. I am still waiting for my QT tank to cycle but think I may look into one of these guys or Peppermint shrimp.

No issues with him nipping at other soft corals?

Is aiptasia bad for the tank or mean something is wrong with the water quality?? I've always had it on my rocks! This be a problem?
