The Peppermint Shrimp picks its way around your aquarium and live rock to consume detritus, uneaten food, and decomposing organic material. And if you try using them to eat up your aiptasia problem you’re gonna wanna buy multiple cuz some aren’t gonna be interested in eating aiptasia but they still won’t solve the problem you have to manually remove them or kill themSo once the peppermint shrimp have eliminated the aiptasia, what do you feed the shrimp?
Yikes I’m glad I went with a skunk cleaner shrimp and a fire shrimp I just found my emerald crab munching on my goniopora he’s now in algae heaven in one of my algae tanksI don’t trust peppermint shrimp, every time I get them for Aiptasia issues they always end up eating corals, last time they ate 200$ gold octospawns- no thank you.
