New tank, live rock. Just not sure, it also had something coming out of it's "mouth"? Do they do that? This is the only one I see (so far). Thanks.

While I am not expert, I would guess a larval jelly.

Looks like the Medusa stage of a hydroid. Commonly mistaken for jelly fish.

Do hydroids retract if something gets near it? Like completely disappear. And thanks for replies.
