I’ve noticed that one side of a single zoa polyp I have keeps curling inward, underneath it looks like there is tentacles and like another head on one side. I made a video but it’s not great as hard to focus.
 
I took the frag out as a precaution and took these pics

Haha I think I will just throw out the frag and hope it didn’t have time to spread
 
Being you got it out, I’d scrape it off, rinse in tank water and return to the tank. They don’t spread that fast.
 
You could also take the frag out dip it in some hydrogen peroxide and let the little turd melt away on a separate container. I would pop the frag out of the cone as well, some hitchhikers hide at the base.
