Is this algea coraline?

Happy new years reefers. I've built several tanks but have never seen this type of bright green algea. Just wondering if it's Coraline or something I need to treat with inverts. Tank is about 3 months old now.

No that doesn't look like coraline algae. The coraline algae is flaky and encrusts on rocks and glass. This algae is normal for new tanks because your tank is relatively new and is still maturing. The 1 year mark is sort of the point where the "ugly algae" phases stops. Hope this helps my friend!

That's just regular ugly phase algae that should resolve itself Iin the next few months with routine maintenance.

its typical algae. You can reduce white light intensity a little to slow it down. At this point, you can add some cleaner snails to help keep in check.

3 turbo
3 astrea
3 Trochus
3 nassarius
6 blue leg hermits ( these are tiny)

I have 4 trochus, 3 Nassarius, 2 blue leg hermits, one red leg, 3 zebra hermits.
