Yes that is an aiptasia! Deal with it now before it spreads because they will take over your tank.
Personally, I would cover it in super glue gel, second choice would be kalc paste and third would be AiptasiaX. Regardless of which method you select be sure to keep a close eye on the area for quite a while to make sure you got it before it sent out spores to replicate itself.
Newbie here and sorry if this is a dumb question... but how is super glue safe in the aquarium? I guess it must be because I see it mentioned frequently re aiptasia but how exactly do you apply it?
