I only see one of these in my tank after inspection. Is it an Aiptasia on the crabs shell?

Doesn't look like aiptasia but it's really unclear.

that or a ball anemone
I didn't know there was such a thing called ball anemone. Upon researching via Google images, I think that's what it is. Well, I pulled the crab, scrubbed the shell, carefully dipped only the shell portion into 3% hydrogen peroxide (not sure if it help), and it looks clean now. They don't grow rampant like aiptasia, do they?

I like Strawberry/Ball Anemones. They can be very prolific similar to Aiptasia but mine never hurt anything. They tend to stick to the shadows and the sump. Good filter feeders. My guess was between Ball Nem or mini featherduster.

Not cool! ... if it was a feather duster. I wanted a few! I already destroyed it smh

The miniature ones can be annoying until they settle. They'll come and go as your tank ages.

I have one of these guys in my tank. Kinda looks like an aiptasia of some kind but I’m not really sure. Can anyone positively ID this for me?

I'd recommend starting your own thread. It's hard to follow and can be confusing when you piggyback on someone else's. Looks more like coral of some type.
