Hi I'm just starting a 120 gallon saltwater tank and started cycling a month ago using ammonia. Last week I purchased 20 pounds of live rock from someone who was closing down their tank. When he pulled the rock out on the back of the rock was what he called an anemone. I've looked online and i can't find anything that resembles it. It looks to have a yellow-green mouth with mostly white tentacles that have a bit of purple in them. Is it an anemone? Thanks in advance for any identification.

Looks like a baby long tentacle to me.

Rock flower

Thanks everyone so what shouldi feed this thing? I have some mysis shrimp or should i get some chopped up fish or something like that?

I wouldn't target feed it. I'd just feed the tank. Feeding sometimes stresses them.

Btw, do you have any more pics of it up close?

I give mine a light dusting of reef roids 1X per week. If you change water regularly, you have accomplished many of their needs already.

It does look like one of these rock flowers, just needs a bit of light.
