I am referring to the tube that leads to my roller mat? Does that bend cause a slower drainage issue?

100% yes. All bends and elbows cause restriction in flow. Pinched hoses cause waterflow to cavitate.

It will definetely impede the flow. Whether it impedes it enough to matter i am not sure? Is that the primary drain from your DT? If so i would be concerned.

Yeah but in the back there Is another drain secondart which the water is crashing down into the old filter sock chamber.

At least you got a secondary drain then. I would replace that hose with pvc elbows if you can. Elbows slow flow also, but not nearly as much as that pinch will

One elbow is equal to anywhere from 2 to 6 feet of tubing, depending on the inside diameter of the pipe. I know there is a chart out there somewhere.

Elbows are better than pinches... unless it is a human elbow vs. pinch.
