A wild colony that I got from the LFS. It's actually a standard brown, fluorescing light green under actinics. It STNed on me, and I managed to save 3 frags of it, one of which is mounted in my tank. This is a pretty fast grower, I think, it's been 3 weeks and it's already encrusted like that! I was hoping that it would color up to become a nicer color, but I love how bright and specked the polyps are when the white LEDs go out!
It's hard to tell until it gets a little but larger, but at the moment looks like Oregon tort. Eventually the insides may be a bit lighter, but should still have no green. Cali tort is similar blue, but has some green inside. Heart of the ocean is the only bluer acro that I'm aware of. But blue vermiculata from unique corals may be a close third. I love my Oregon tort, it encrusted fast, but has since slowed up a bit. It likes high flow and light for me, and getting the phosphates up really helps it's growth. Once the blues come on it'll look like the retail photos, but I think it's a fairer portrayal. I paid about 50 for a frag like yours, and this is about a year later.
