I noticed this a few minutes ago. Can someone IS it and tell me if it is an issue?

Looks like maybe an aptasia.
If so, kill it.

Remove it whole or cover it with f-aptasia.

Get rid of it ASAP. Try not to disturb it much as it will release planulas (offspring) that will take over your tank.

It's a pest anemone (aptasia, lightbulb, majano) doesn't really matter what it is, they all grow fast and infest the tank.

Maybe you can syphon it out if it’s only in the sand?

Kalk is used differently to take care of these nems you put the syringe right up to their mouth and blast them with it.

You would need to mix Kalk with some rodi water into a paste and then use the paste to cover it. Leave pumps off for a while and it should do the trick. The key is to get it into the mouth before it closes.

How reactive are they? just after i saw it i looked from another angle and figured it was aiptasia. I ask the reactivity question as i took a turkey baster to suck it up out of the sand. When i got near it, it shot down into the sand like a worm or something. I think i still got it but sucking that area. Then flushed it down the toilet. Rinsed my bastor with fresh water now letting it dry.

They are a pest and can multiply fast. They can and will bother corals with a sting.

Just keep an eye. If you find another, I recommend F-Aptasia for removal, it puts a “case” around the nem and a week later, pull the whole thing out.
