I bought a 10 syringes for 4.99 from Hannaford Phyrmasist and a thing of lemon juice... took the rock out and isolated it and then went to town... It's been 15 minutes since and the they are all gone. Need to wait a week to make sure but I will update... thanks

1 Day after... This morning I noticed some Aptasia that I had missed so today I will go on another Lemon Juice rampage.

Death by Lemon Juice!!! This was a 1.5" Disc very big Aptasia...

i have removed them with a bubble method smother the pest with tiny bubbles from a air stone and it will float away ,it will upset your acan but no harm will come to it..if you isolate it there will be no worries of it settling somewhere else in the tank, it took mine 30 minutes so you may need some patience

I would buy a syringe from your local pharmacy and get your lemon juice out of the frig... and stick that needle into the center core of the Aptasia. If the Aptasia is to small then I would buy a peppermint shrimp. I have used peppermint shrimps before and they do a good job until they run into a big Aptasia and that's how I lost one of my shrimps.

Aiptasia-X works really well too - check your sump/overflows/filter boxes for colonies :(

Lemon juice from the super marker and I tried it... It only works on the big ones that I noticed... the small tiny ones I have tried but I need way better eyes to see...

Good Luck!

ive also found that you need to move fairly quickly or they retract.

I use kalk paste instead of lemon juice, though I know both works.

Do you mean the Lemon Juice? I have tried isolating as much as possible but I haven't seen any issues with my soft or hard coral... Just an FYI... I would recommend a peppermint shrimp for the smaller Aptasia LFS doesn't seem to have a problem with it as she has an abundance of peppermint shrimps that eat it when her shipments come in.
