Is this Aptasia?

Noticed this one today. My rocks are from gulfliverock.com. At the moment I see only of these. I can easily remove this one as it is growing on the substrate.

I am trying to get a positive id. It has a blue mouth with red/blue around it. The tentacles are clear with red stripes on them.

Any idea what it could be? Should I take it out anyway?

The tentacles, Yes. The one in my tank is only as big as a quarter now.

Looks like aptasia.

Mine was a nickel size about 4 months ago. It is now about 2 in. In the center with 3 1/2 in tentacles

So it is aptasia? Did they reproduce crazy in your tank?

I believe it is a curlyque anemone.

So far I have not had any problems with it. It's in a corner of the tank and 4 ft. from any coral.

My tank is an IM25. Not a lot of space if it grows big.

Get it out then. If you don't have the space. It will get very large.
