Looks like a wild yuma or a severely sick mahano nem with bacterial infection

It very well could Be a mushroom as I have a couple of green furry mushrooms. My first thought was mahano.

It definitely reacts like an anemone when touched.

If I had to put money on it, I'd say a sickly anemone. Is this under lights and if not, what does it look like under lights?

Could be a ball anemone (which is actually related to mushrooms, not nems)

It is under a rock, in between the sand and the rock. Out of the light.

Looks like a ball anemone. How big is it? Looks very small. Under 5mm diameter? If it is, then, yes, probably a ball anemone. Nothing to worry about.

It is slightly smaller than a dime. Probably about 8-10mm
