Is this black sea sponge??

Not too sure what this is but I'm wondering if it's black sea sponge? It doesn't grow very much and it has like a felt type feel to it.
Just conerned if not good for the tank or nothing to worry about.

I'm pretty confidant saying it is a sponge. If it's not growing fast it's my guess it's not the cyanobacteriosponge Terpios hoshinota which can be a serious pest, but I want to empjasize that's just a guess. Do a search with that species name on google scholor to find out more. If you want to control it this technique might help:

I think your hunch of a black sea sponge is right. The characteristics is not of Terpios Hoshinota. It's not fuzzy and mine is jet black.
