That does look like it could be brook. There’s also a possibility of mucous irritation and and an infection. I would start treating for brook.

Definitely looks like it. I’d give it a freshwater dip to try to clear away some of that mucous first... his breathing looks very labored. Followed by a 90-minute bath in acriflavine (ruby reef rally or API fungus cure)

Dose the QT with metroplex at the higher dosage (2 scoops per 10 gallons) and I would also run an antibiotic like kanaplex and/or furan-2 to help ward off secondary infections.

I appreciate the help in this thread, but she passed after the FW dip. I was in talk with HF and agreed on a plan for a 5min FW dip + Metro/Kana, but after the 5min FW dip she stopped breathing.
