Is this brown jelly disease?

I've had this frogspawn about six months. Within the last month he has lightened up quite a bit in color, and today this is coming out of his mouth...what is it?

Doesn't look it to me. BJD starts at the base of the polyp in my experience. That looks like detritus sitting on top of it.

its 100% not BJD, its excreting waste at the moment

The color change is likely from low nutrients in the water.

Thanks guys. Yeah, I've always had relatively low nutrients. Actually feeding a little heavier to try and increase them. Will hopefully add another fish soon.
