Is this brown jelly?

Hey guys,
Is this brown jelly? My neon green candy cane frag is dying, it’s on the side of my purple stylo near the base, and it’s creeping up on the edge of my other candy cane. I’ve had these coras for years so idk what it is or where it’s coming from?

Looks like exposed bone with algae growing on it. Need better resolution photos

The stylo looks to be stn from base up or if threres flesh it needsmorelight. Post your parameters, specifically alk mag and nitrates/phosphate. Salinity and temp too
