3 days ago my Duncan closed and it was half opening and the other day my globulus urchin was right beside him (maybe the urchin climbed the Duncan I don't know) and it was carrying a piece of gsp that got stuck on his back. Yesterday it wasn't fully open too but I think it was in a better situation. My problem is that 2 days ago I noticed these brown things in my Duncan but I didn't do anything about it. Parameters are good except for my phosphates and all of my parameters are pretty stable. Any ideas?

Salinity 1.024
Nitrates 5ppm
Alk 7.7
Calcium 430
Phosphates 0.5ppm

It does not look like bjd, at least from the pic. It almost looks like when my duncans get some mysis and then poo the next day.

Is there any tissue loss or damage that you can see?
No I don't think there is any damage or tissue loss. I haven't feed my Duncan the last 2 weeks so I don't think it's food. Maybe it's just the phosphates or the urchin that disturbed the Duncan?

I agree in poop
You can take a turkey baster and gently blow it away although it should dislodge itself
You can also siphon it with a 3/16” tube

Edit: Today since i opened the lights the duncan look better than the other days. I've read some forums and some people said that their duncans just closed for 2-3 days so they can save energy for growing new heads. This might be the case to me too
