Can't tell if my eyes are playing tricks on me, but can anyone tell me if this bta looks like it's browning?
To my eyes, it's more of a deep purple, but i don't think it looked like this 5 months ago when i got it.

My nitrates are at 5, phosphates at 0.1
Alk is 9.4, cal at 435, sal at 1.026, temp is 25.5c, ph at 8.1, mag at 1275

It could be turning more brown. Aside from aesthetics, it's not a bad thing. It means that it's got a healthy zooxanthellae population which helps the anemone survive. You may have purchased the BTA when it was slightly bleached. Bleached anemones have a low zooxanthellae population, so they are less brown, which allows the color of the anemone to show more.

I see. Well, thanks for that. Question then, how would I create more color in this fellow then? From what I understand, keep nutrients in check. My nitrates at 5 and phosphates at approx 0.1 good enough? Or is phosphate too high? Getting a hanna checker to really monitor po4... Right now, I'm using a nyos test kit, which between 0.075 and 0.1 is a huge color jump.
