It started off as a fist full and now has been reduced to a mushy mess... I got it as a nutrients control thing but also for pods to grow in...
Things that probably killed it and YES I am stupid :
* I put flucanozle in the tank at one point cause I thought it might help a sickly fish cause the bottle said it was originally used to treat fungal infections in fish. (It didn't help) I assume that hurt the chaeto
* I also put some API Algaefix in the tank to help with my GHA
* The reefugium light I purchased also might not have had enough juice to grow this thing. It had good reviews on Bulk Reef Supply... it only has 6500k so I put in a different light recently (my old display tank light) that has 20 watts vs. 4 watts and 25000k.
So is this dying chaeto not worth saving and leaving it in my media basket causing more harm than good at this point?
Thanks.
