Is this common for a frog fish

Hi guys and gals, bought a new frog fish about 6 days ago, fed him a damsel 2nd day in and he wolfed it down. 4 days later tried feeding him a molly and he spit it out. The molly is smaller than the damsel. Is this typical behavior?? I have some ghost shrimp I can gut load but they are SMALL. Thanks for looking

Could it be that the damsel is a saltwater fish and the molly a freshwater fish?

Maybe although these mollys have been acclimated to salt water and are living in 1.026 salt for quite some time /shrug
