Is this coral ok?

I just received a shipment in the mail of a Ultra Ricordea. When I opened the package I noticed the the ricordea looked like it broke off its frag it was on. I am new to corals and wanted to see if I just get a new plug and glue it onto it if it will be ok. Also part looks like it is on top of original plug and some on side. I added pictures to get better idea of what I am talking about. Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated.

They can walk, get it in the tank after normal acclimation, place the plug on the sand coral up and see what happens.

I didn’t contact the store. After I acclimated it’s and put in tank it looks fine. I placed plug in sand and it moved around.

should it fall off the plug, attach it to a rock you would like to see it on and losslly. . LOOSLY attach it with a rubber band to hold it down to attach to rock, not to strangle it onto rock
