ive had it about two months and it supposed to be either a jack o lantern stylo or lepto i forgot

Looks like its starting to bleach to me, might be saveable but I dont know much about leptos.

I have a couple leptos and one is the Jack o lantern. They do well under overhangs or on the edge of caves. Definitely move it lower down. They are pretty hardy and will make a comeback under the proper lighting.

This is not a great pic but mine is in a cave and getting less than 150 par.

But yes, op, move it down, give it some rest and see how it does. It does look pretty bad.

Until it grows algae it is still in the races. Move it down so it gets less light and it will have a little better chance of a comeback too. I have a stick that rtnd on me, still some flesh left and it is starting to grow a bit. It can happen. (This pic is from a few weeks ago.)

Your coral, your call. But, were it mine, i would chuck it down low for a month and see if that tissue comes back. Everywhere that doesnt have algea is still alive.

dang really? I just moved it down to the sandbed and i guess ill see later or in the morning if its starting to come back

Lol, it will be a few weeks dude. Hopefully what you see in the next few days is no more tissue loss, then no change for a week or two, then a little color starting to come back.
