Hi guys. New to saltwater tanks. I set my tank up on Dec. 20th. I added purple helix within 1 week of tank setup.
About 20 days ago I added the top rock (covered in coralline) which was donated.
I’m wondering what type of algae is growing on the base rocks (green algae)? Ive circled a rock as reference.
I am hoping this is green coralline algae and it will soon turn purple. There are some scatter purple spots on the highlighted rock that are difficult to see in the pic.
What do you guys think??
