Is this Coralline Growth?? thoughts?

A buddy gave me some live rock a couple of months ago. I started cycling it in its own plastic bin with its own light, power head, bubbler, and heater. All water parameters are kept ideal as well. My question is this Coralline? It does not fall off with a turkey baster ok it. It seems interesting to me that it’s in the shape of a ring.

when corallines start to grow they make the dead rock color just like in your pictures but I always see them growing like blotches on the rock.

I think this ring shape may not be coralline, but we should wait to see maybe I'm wrong.

Also, I see two of them in your pictures, really interested to see the result after a couple of months

It doesn't look like coraline to me.

I think I would turn the lights off in this situation. There doesn't appear to be anything that needs photosynthetic support, and you aren't going to grow anything new that is desirable.

DOes not look like coralline to me either. Coralline must be introduced into a tank on something, and I do not see it anywhere on your rock, so I seriously doubt it. That ring shape is certainly odd. The rock looks more like macro rock than live rock to me.
