Is this crab a pest

Hi guys I found this guy on my tank don't know what it is

emerald crab. nope eats algae.

that looks NOTHING like any emerald crab i have ever seen.......
Id say he looks like a nasty hitchhiker.......
personally id get rid of him

Don't think it's an emerald either. How big is it?

Doesnt look like Emerald to me either, but even if it was, they do not ONLY eat algae....
I had one go to town on all my stars, and would wave its claws around trying to snip small fish...

So I put a piece of dead coral and he was taking little pieces of it . So I got rid of it

Put him in sump
