Is this crocea healthy or lookingpmd

I have just got a crocea clam ~3.5"/8 cm last night currently in qt, but the mantle feels pinched and the way its mantle extends is very different from my maxima clam that i've had for almost a year. Can someone please have a look if it looks healthy. Thanks

That is a funky shape Crocea, likely due to restriction of the space where he grew up. He looks a little stressed, which is normal for newly capture and shipped Crocea. Hopefully he will recover for you. wild caught clams are always a gamble. QT him well if you have valuable clams in your tank. He is a pretty special Crocea.

its doing fine in quarantine and will be released this saturday but it has shown no growth at all. not sure if its just because of its age and grow extremely slow or the quarantine is low in nutrient. its ~3inch/7.5cm across so i guess it should still grow?
