Run lights for 12 hrs 8am to 8pm. Nitrates are 10-20ppm but phosphate are hight at 0.9ppm (Hanna).
Please refer pic below.

Looks like it on bottom. I have some in my sump but not in display, been this way for over a year. Mine grows on my cheato in small blobs but never any more

Btw thinking because low flow. Is yours? I always think about putting in a pump to circulate but too lazy to do it. Lol

It grows on cheato and they come afloat afterwards due to air bubbles which is really annoying!

I have Dino in my DT as well. Could it be due to high phosphates?

Siphon out what you can cut back lights to 8 hours. What other nutrients export do you have? Skimmer? Your phosphate is way high. Cut back on feeding, what do you feed corals? Lot of coral foods will raise phosphate.

DT the same, cut lights to 6 hours with no white just blue and UV. Siphon out what you can. Ensure adequate flow. Dose good bacteria like PNS probio all natural products.

Dino’s in display is a different story then. Didn’t mention that in original post. Yea going to have to get those nitrates down

Yes I do run the skimmer 24hrs. I don't feed corals. Only feed my fish - frozen brine and ocean nutrition small pellets - but don't over feed them.

I have 2 kessil a160WEs over the 4ft tank. I will try reducing the color even further. 2hat If I run them very low (say at 5%), would that still could towards the photoperiod?

I wouldn't cut intensity back that much if you have corals just cut back duration time. Focus on your parameters. Dose PNS probio and expect this to take weeks or a couple months to work it's way out.
