Is this cyano or Coralline algae ?

Hey guys newbie here and first time posting I was wondering if anyone can tell me if this is cyano or coralline algae? I got given some live rock with a few corals attached to it and noticed this red stuff on it . Any help would be good thanks in advance

I believe it can come in a few different colours, Red being one of them and even blue!

Sorry but I can't say whether yours is or not coralline algae...my guess would be it is.

Does not look like slime algae or sponge. The red coralline seems to love lower lighting. My reds grow in shaded areas very well. mostly in places my tuxedo can't reach.

Coralline algae can be red, purple or pink.

I have rocks partially covered in the same red algea. Its very hard unlike normal cyano thats blown away w turkey buster. Theres also spots of purple corraline growing around it..

Was once a coral. A skeleton now. Sorry Could have been a porites or a encrusting monti. Difficult for me to say.

Aptasia. If your able to take that rock out of the tank the best course of action would be to scrub as much of it as you can off the rock, rinse with saltwater then cover the spot where the base was with superglue or epoxy. If you can’t remove them I would try to shove a big chunk of epoxy in there to completely cover the thing where it can’t escape or leak out through anywhere. If the release planulea or even pieces of there body will turn into more. Most of the stuff they sell in the market to kill them will only cause them to spread once they die. I know it seems drastic but if they begin to multiply you will have to go through hell to get rid of them later. Good luck.

Arrr that is not what I wanna hear .. alright I can remove that rock but does have a coral attached to it. I'll try get the coral off and place somewhere else there is a little bit in the coral as well how do I go about that?
