I have this burnt orange looking stuff on my rock with some air bubbles on it. It's only in a small part of my tank? What is it and what do I do if I need to get rid of it? Help!!

If it is cyano or red slime, I just blow it off and cut my feedings down. Seems like I get a break out every time I add a new fish because I over feed in an attempt to make sure the survive the transition to my tank.

Excess nutrients and lack of flow casues it.
But because of lack of surface area, and i'm not seeing any red, ya might want to keep an eye on it if it comes back, might be looking at Dinos.

It's gone now. Came right off with a toothbrush.

I just realized the temp shot up to 82. Could be the new lights. Sheesh.
