Is this Cyano?

Hello everyone,

Could someone please advise if this looks like Cyano? Tank is about 10 months old and this is the first heavy outbreak of anything that I've had so far....

Yeah, I think that's cyano.

I could be wrong but it looks suspiciously like dinoflagellates

Probably not unless coloring is off. Cyano is like the color of red wine and smells like death when overrun, you smell your tank if that was all cyano would probably make you gag.
