Is this cyanobacteria, should I keep it?

Good afternoon,
My saltwater aquarium only has 2 fish and presumed dead coral but I believe red cyanobacteria is beginning to cover the dead coral. Should I try and have it removed, or should I keep it due to the polyps I believe have grown?

If it’s cyano you should be able to just siphon it off.

Yes. Cyano forms thick mats that can be blown or sucked right off the rock.

If anything just clear out around the coral because they can smother them
