Not yet dead but receded due to stress. . . . Stress can be:
Yes it’s newer I have a rock flower that is doing great. Tank is 6months and using ai prime. Under the settings you gave me the other day. But has receded even further since the last post. Nutrients are low but I had high nutrients for a while. I have been feeding frozen brine shrimp. For the last few days but it doesn’t seem to eat them. I turned off my wavemaker because at time of last post it seemed to be doing more harmNot yet dead but receded due to stress. . . . Stress can be:
- Too little light
- Inadequate water flow (Medium water which keeps sediment off of them)
- location
- Low calcium (400-450) for their skeletal health
- High phosphates
Is this a newer tank ? If so, tank may not be stable enough for torch and even anemones.
What light are you using ?
Aim your wavemaker at glass so the flow bounces off glass and has a gyre effect to water flow and not so strong versus direct flowYes it’s newer I have a rock flower that is doing great. Should I have it on random or constant wavesAim your wavemaker at glass so the flow bounces off glass and has a gyre effect to water flow and not so strong versus direct flow
You know what the flesh is rolling around and looking like it’s ganna fly off with the flow even indirect flowAim your wavemaker at glass so the flow bounces off glass and has a gyre effect to water flow and not so strong versus direct flow

Even this ? still treat with peroxide?Looks to be in pretty bad shape. It's probably already damaged and infected and brown jelly is probably near if not already. One thing I noted is lots of algae growing up the base which could have contributed. Me, just being me, I probably would try and treat it with iodine or peroxide as a last ditch effort and some use antibiotics. I'll usually try until it a bare skeleton unless something is badly infected and posing risk to the tank.
Yeah sorry maybe not... just looked again and it looks pretty shredded.Even this ? still treat with peroxide?
