Is this diatoms, cyano, or dino ?

21 days into cycle.
about a week ago we started seeing brown patches on the live rock, along with bubbles forming on the surface of the rock.
It looks slimy, and occaisionally has strings with bubbles at the tip.

I read to not run a protein skimmer during the cycle, I did start mine up after the "diatom" bloom.

There are no livestock in this tank.

Is this cyano? How should I get rid of it?

Tank Paramaters (as of yesterday - 8/15/2017)

Ammonia - 0 ppm
Nitrites - .25ppm
Nitrates - 100ppm
Phosphate - 0.5ppm
PH - 7.8
Temp - 82F

My tank is doing something similar but I have been told it's just part of the cycling process mine appeared a few days before hair algae, I combated with adding a few Snails, they are playing catch up but they are working. It's growth rate is ridiculous. Then it stops. Just wait until the green starts growing mine just started

I just noticed I have two small patches of green! Is it supposed to be "mossy" and slick looking? Cause mine are.
I feel like a kid again with my first chin whiskers growing in!

Yeah it's definitely mossy as you can see in my last picture, and this green bloom is even making the water hazy but the brown has pretty much came to a halt. I'm just waiting for the purple..

If you have no live stock in there and you don't mind looking at a non lit aquarium you can leave them off , it will help a little against the algae and ugly stage of cycling .. but not much and it's gonna happen anyway when you finally add cuc and first fish so it's upto you !
