Tank has been Cycling for 10 days. Is this diatoms? Looks different then most images I’ve seen of it.

If it's not on your sand bed I don't think it's diatoms.

What ever it is , it could be from phosphates leaching from your dry rock.

That’s weird. Got any close ups?

They almost look like red flatworms.

There is some spots on the sand to, but not much. Mainly rock. Rock was dry base rock. Sand is Arag Alive live sand.

I did notice bubbles on the top rock where the spots are.

I hope it's not dino's.

Relax!
Just a early stage of diatoms.
Question though, how are you cycling your tank as I can't find that any where in your post, lights on it off, bac dosing, the shrimp way, skimmer on or off?

Started with cocktail shrimp, removed it when ammonia was 2ppm. Then Started using Seachem Stability for 7 days. Ghost fed every other day. Lights were on till spots started showing up. Then off a few days. Had them back on today. No skimmer.

What did you ghost feed with?
How stable is your Po4 and No3 ontbe moment?
No livestock yet right?

Yesterday Ammonia was 0, Nitrite 2ppm, Nitrate 40ppm. Ive read not to do water changes till cycle is complete but how much Nitrate is too high? I have not tested Phosphate. Will have to get a test kit for that. Any recommendations? Ghost fed with New Life Spectrum Pellets. No live stock.

What test kits you're using for the test?

No2 is still a little high, don't worry about your No3 as that ain't bad for your livestock.
No to bad if you do a WC wait a day and ghost feed with ammonia to see if it drops within 24hrs.
Your No2 should settle if ammonia is dropping by itself.

I like the Hanna Phosphorus tester for phosphates. Need to do a little math to get the phosphate ppm numbers but much easier than having to try and match colors :-)

I have API kits right now.

API is good to get you through the cycle but once you try to get more of a balance a better test kit is a good investment.
As mentioned Hanna just for Po4 and ALK other good test kits are ime Redsea and salifert.
