Went to my lfs all my test came back to be pretty normal we have come to the conclusion that it is Dino’s but I am supposed to bring in a sample of the algae but how am I supposed to collect it if it just disintegrates into the water? All my corals have been pretty happy as well as my fish so not sure what to do

That's a bacteria or algae bloom. You should add an airstone in case it depletes tank 02.

Fairly common in new tanks. Decrease light, add airstone and ensure proper all around parameters and it will go away in a week or so
Do you mean make my light schedule be fewer hours or actually dim the lights

Run 6 hours with blue and uv only no whites. Run bag of carbon and do weekly water changes with sand siphon.
