Hey guys
So for the last 2 months my tank has been dealing with have cyano/Dino I haven’t seen green algae since the early stages of the tank ...
my corals are suffering and I don’t know what to do, I know there’s this huge thread on Dinos but I’ve tried a lot
Water changes
Vibrant
Adding good bacteria
Feeding more
Feeding less but I can’t seem to get my nutrients stable.
Before I had high nitrates and untestable phosphates. I’ve tried dosing phosphates to help balance it out and I feel like it’s not working..

Try Dr Tims WASTE AWAY... dose half the recommended value - adjust your light schedule and see where that gets you. Turkey baste your affected areas often, and change out your floss daily. Do this for a couple weeks, and fight the itch to keep throwing more things into the tank to battle them.

That’s the thing it’s only on the sand bed , and filter floss gets thrown out every day

Looks like it, some Dinos like Amphidinium will stay on the sand. Get a cheap microscope, like a 15 dollar one and you can ID what your dealing with.

A microscope would confirm definitively, but yes it's dinos.

I’ll try and get a microscope , my wife accidentally bought the wrong chemi pure blue size for my tank and I feel that’s the reason why I have dinos now I have a 20 gallon she bought one for 75 gallons

A cheap toy microscope off Amazon will work. I posted the link to the one I used. I was able to get a good ID with it. Take some photos through the eye piece with your phone. I do think it is Amphidinium though if it’s staying in the sand.
