More then likely no because Dino usually will have air bubbles trapped in the slim. This reminds me more of cyno bacteria the green kind. It could also be diatom algae. Is this dinos?![]()

Definitely looks more green then rusty. It does seem to cling/clump together when I try to suck it up.If it’s rusty colored it probably is. Not all varieties of dinos have the bubble strings.
I am battling them now and they just look like diatoms. This is a three year old tank so they aren’t diatoms.
When the lights first come on, are there less of them?Definitely looks more green then rusty. It does seem to cling/clump together when I try to suck it up.

Dinos will almost entirely vanish. After the lights go out. Looks like green Cyanobacteria to me. But don’t take my word for it.No remains the same if lights are on or off

Can you suggest a strategy?GHA and cyano. in some places the cyano is covering the GHA.
Can you suggest a strategy?
If you already have good herbivores (and you do) then I'd just give them a hand with sucking out the cyano and manually removing some of the GHA.I have yellow tang and tomini tang, fox face, lawnmower blenny as well as two urchins and snails and hermits which I think are handling gha but what would be a good plan for the cyano?
