Is this dyno? Normal or not?

I'm having strange luck in my first reefing adventure. My tank recently finished cycling but somehow ended up getting bryopsis which has now gone away from my fluconazole treatment but now I'm seeing this outbreak on my sand. Is this dyno? Just part of the ugly phase? I got coralline happening pretty fast somehow, just not sure what to do with what's happening on the sand. I have a few snails in there right now but nothing else. Also recently had a wiring fault in one of my circulators which electrified my water slightly and killed off a snail. Does that have anything to do with it? Should I use vibrance or more snails or just leave it alone?

Let it ride. Youre going to go thru all types of algae until your bacteria gets strong enough to out-compete it.

Yeah I would just keep letting it ride, I always prefer the natural way and don’t use chemicals or products until last resort.

Can anyone identify what type of algae this is? I blew on it with a turkey baster and it kinda just instantly disintegrated and turned white

Looks like straight up diatoms to me.

They come and go pretty much on their own. If they go crazy and cover everything, live with it until you can't stand it anymore and then siphon them out during a water change or into a filter sock. Turbo snails love them too and two or three hungry ones could eat all you're showing in an afternoon.
