Is this egg crate reef safe?

Hey guys, using this egg crate to prop up my skimmer, any issues associated with this stuff? Think I got it from Lowe’s or Home Depot a while back. I Ofcourse rinsed in The sink and dried prior to use.

While not a scientific answer, I've had several pieces in various places of my sumps for a few years without any issues. I've also seen it used several times as frag racks in other successful ecosystems. It's cheap, & I plan to keep using it.

I’ve never had an issue with it. I’ve even painted some black with krylon fusion paint and it never flaked or peeled off.

It’s fine. BRS sells it in black, if you ever need it that color.
