Is this Egg Sac of some sort?

What the heck are these little white balls? I am actually afraid to touch them. They were underneath my chaeto when I was working in my sump.

You have any snails in your tank and f so what kind?

Maybe it's some type of nice spherical Sponge. I had sponges close to those spherically but not a group like that. I'd say observation and time and if nothing changes consider it a sponge and leave it. If they hatch into dragons slay it.

Don't ask me to touch them. Once I had some pods crawl on my hand and I almost lost it. I know, I am a tough guy.

I think if those were eggs you must be housing beluga(Caviar)$100,000 dollars a ounce . If not then probably sponge.

If you don't know what they are it always best to remove them with your bare hands as you want to know you got them all out.

I think they are very likely a sponge and this is just one example of many. The added benefit is they uptake silicate.
