right now my tank is just rocks sand and two fish, no algae or dinsoit should be a good start, make sure you have enough hair algae and detritus for them to snack on since your tank is new. You'll likely need to supplement later for a tank that size as you get stocked up and algae growth establishes.
I personally would hold off on CUC then - you don't want them to stave and die. Assuming your water movement is solid, you shouldn't have much detritus buildup with only 2 fish, unless I am mistaken.right now my tank is just rocks sand and two fish, no algae or dinso

Looks good to me. You will need to replenish over time but good to start. Careful with the dwarf ceriths. I have maybe 20 in my 90 gallon, but they are so small they tend to get into power heads and such and cause issues. But I do like mine and glad to have them.tank size is 110 gallons, starting new, so i dont want too much that they will starve![]()
I remember those! I had a BUNCH in my old 90. And I can recall wondering just that when I put them in. But I never did have a PH seize on me secondary to a curious wee-one. Thanks for the reminder. Just one more reason to get guards for powerheads.Looks good to me. You will need to replenish over time but good to start. Careful with the dwarf ceriths.
