Is this flow good on my torch??

I would say so, just leave it in a spot so it gets used to it. I have put them in zero flow and getting beaten by flow, they will adjust as long as all other parameters are stable and not shifting and not getting picked on.

Looks good. Like john said they can adapt pretty well. However, I will say with my rainbow indo torch, it splits heads more rapidly in higher flow.

Is this flow new? Reason I ask is was it more extended before this flow? If it seems withdrawn now then keep an eye on it. I have a good size Frogspawn that's getting tossed around pretty good & looking fine. I thought it would be too much flow.

That is right as I put him in there. Plus it is a new power head in general. Just want to make sure this is goood flow. He hasn’t retracted and seems to be fully extended in the video.

Looks pretty good, there is one point where it looks to get blasted pretty hard for a second. It probably will be fine though, just keep an eye on it. When they are happy you will know because they extended a lot more.

They are adaptable, if you want more extension then less flow, but if they are extending then they will do just fine.

Watch for those clowns though. If they start hosting the torch it can get cut and brown jelly happens fast. I kept loosing torches and never saw why, then one day happened to catch a clown being rough, would kill one head at a time. Once removed the clown didn't have issues again.

Many ppl never have issues clowns and torches, just something to be aware of.
Never had clown kill frogspawn even hosting for years.

Appreciate the info in this thread. Answered my question. Didnt need to start a new thread. Gotta love using the search function. :)

This is my Aussie black torch. It sits on the sand. It had a bout with flatworms about two months ago it really looked like a goner but it’s coming back!
