Ok so I bought a head of frogspawn a good 4 months ago in the past 4 weeks or so the frogspawn has not been extending completely more like 50% or less it’s expansion when I first received the frag. I noticed what appears to be a second mouth is this the process of splitting?

every other coral is doing fine

I don’t know, I’ve never seen a picture like you posted before of 2-mouths?
The fact that one is so much smaller than the other makes me pause. When anemone split the mouth sizes are pretty much symmetric, but I have not seen an lps mouth division up close. Could be, and great photo.

The way I have looked at dividing lps is from the skeleton side where the elongated oval starts to “pinch” in the middle until the oval becomes two circles with time.

Lets see what answers you get on here!
