Hi! I have been dealing with this algae for a while now, it just seems to keep growing like weed, no matter what I do. It constantly clogs my overflow and it even killed some of my hard corals... Nothing wants to eat it(snails, urchins, tangs or algae blenny.) I'm dosing nopox and my nitrates and phosphates have been zero for at least 6 week now. Also, I don't feed flake foods anymore and doing w

GHA...... I currently battling it. And have little.bryopsis u can see different. Looks like a fern less hairy

Did you have any luck against it so far other than pulling it out in chunks or using peroxide?

Oh I'm having problem with it since like September, I just cant find a way to eradicate it completely. I think I might need to nuke the tank eventually...

Green hair algae. Do you have any turbo snails? They should help. I would run some gfo or phosguard and keep nutrients low. Your test is showing 0 p04 because it’s all being consumed by the algae.

I just put 15 turbo snails in the tank like 2 months ago, but my melanarus wrasse killed them all within 2 weeks... I have emerald crabs and urchins now, but doesnt seem to be enough. At this point I'm only feeding frozen foods very lightly along with daily 10ml of nopox and full skimming.

I have reef flux hd as well. Just holding out. Giving vibrant a chance. But I'll need it for bryopsis eventually. Since I have some. Unless vibrant does a miracle for me

Yeah the wrasse is a pig, he would eat non stop if he could. Sometimes he even swallows these starfish and choke on them until he spits it out lol. I will give the fluconazole a try. Thanks guys!
