Wondering if this is gha and also why I would have it,
My nitrates are at 5 ppm.
Phosphates at 0.0ppm
I just did a good 40% water change and my lights were acclimating to 5% but I just lowered them to 25 maybe there was too much light, also sunlight peeks into the tank once or twice a day for about an hour maybe although through tinted windows so I doubt it does anything
It came on corals I got for free about 30 frags or so buddy was shutting down. I washed and scrubbed them all with hydrogen peroxide on the first day and dipped, they recently just started to regrow the gha so I also today re cleaned all the frags. They've been here about 2-3 weeks. Also have to tangs just 4 big turbos.

It looks like GHA. Conditions in your system are sufficient for algae growth.

This appears to be a fairly new system. You will be dealing with various algae developments over the course of the first year. GHA is just one of the common ones.

You arent doing anything wrong! Its on of the many common species of macro algaes that we get. It probably was easily introduced into your tank by all the frags you have, and its seeing all the free real estate that normally gha or diatoms would have already taken up.

I feel like diatoms just cleared up and now this is taking over

Ah, I see. Well once diatoms clear up its time to watch nutrient levels, specifically Po4 to keep algae growth at a minimum. I would Keep an eye on it, as not many creatures will eat byropsis.

Well it seems like I don't have any po4 so I should be alright
You dont want that either. You never want 0 Po4, thats gonna swing the door wide open for dinos. .05 is recommended for mixed reefs with some sps. If youre only doing lps and softies, .1 is just fine.

Should I add some reef roids to bring it up idk how else I don't have anything that will chemical bottle wise

Right well any idea what I should change or am I doing fine and dandy
Yes leave your lights off the first 4 months so your tank develops biodiversity and microfauna before adding coral and light. Makes the ugly phases more manageable in my opinion.

Bucks20fan is correct, you can see that they are fern like and nothing will eat it. I had success with Reef Flux back in February. I really haven’t seen any other way to eradicate it. Good luck.

Fluconazole will kill bryopsis and it is the most widely used method to kill it, just be aware, you MUST keep your nutrients up, if you dont, I can almost guarantee you will get dinos after using Fluconzole.
