So I downgraded one of my reef tanks that’s been running for 3 years from a 38 gallon to a 25 gallon lagoon
I just wanted to know if the glass would be fine
It’s been up and running for two days now

From what I can see it looks fine, but then again I am not sure if your are pointing out the silicone job, or something else in the pic your are pointing at.

I am so sorry I did not make since lol I meant the thickness of the glass is a 24 by 20 by 19 inches tall aquarium and that’s how thick it is will it be fine

Is that 1/8 or 3/8 glass?
I personally would have gone with 1/4" on those dimensions, but it may hold up without extreme flow in the tank. Be sure nothing accidentally bumps it, you might have issues then.

yes exact thickness on glass will help for sure, did you build tank??

should be ok ,as said don't bump,no rock leaning on glass ,jmo!!!,would recommend 1/4-3/8" ;)

That’s what I am afraid of for something to hit the glass or my mag float to hit it hard I can have one done with thick glass for 40 bucks in Mexico

Hmmm I think I can go for the thickest I can go they only charge 3 dollars more for the more the ticker hahah

They can do 3/8 for 50 with a 10 gallon sump I’ll just doit wnd leave this for a nursery tank
